Fabian is a Ph.D. student at the University of Tennessee, where he is also a research assistant at the Understanding Visual Understanding Laboratory (UVU Lab), under the supervision of Dr. Amir Sadovnik. His research interests include deep learning, semi-supervised learning, object detection, and computer vision. Previously, Fabian was a computer professor at the University of Costa Rica (Turrialba, Costa Rica).

Fabian did his master's degree in Computer Science at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology with Professor Francisco Torres-Rojas and his undergraduate studies at the University of Costa Rica.
